Mr Brightside my last thesis film at Chapman University is almost wrapped! This shoot has been challenging and extremely fun to shoot. A 1940's musical love story is not a typical short film that is made. This is by far the biggest production I have shot but my approach to the cinematography really isn't to different to other films I shoot. The biggest difference is bigger locations. This usually means more powerful lights. Getting into all the locations to do photo boards was also helpful. Every film I shoot I put as much effort into it no matter what the scale. Last day to vote for “Frank” my dog commercial!

There is only 1 day left before the final voting for the winner of the Fuelfreedom.org video contest  is announced. This  video was only posted less then 1 week ago and it has about 1500 views. This video was a challenge in a lot of ways such as working with dogs and having no budget. We also only had a couple days to shoot and edit before it was due. This video and the other video submissions is a great example of how you can make powerful informative commercials with little to no budget and time. Josh Krohn's "Cruel and Usual" has a new trailer. This is one of my final films I shot at SDSU Film School. Synopsis Interviewing for an entry level position at a marketing firm, Terry Hearns attempts to leave his violent life of crime behind. Instead, he finds himself reflecting back on the loose ends surrounding his friend's murder. Haunted by his past, he soon realizes he must make a choice. A film called "Spin" I shot this summer has been accepted into the Sene film festival in Rhode Island and the Tupelo festival in Mississippi. It was a 2 day shoot with a great cast and crew.Thanks to James Hall for getting in touch with me to be the cinematographer on this film.  Hopefully it gets accepted into some more festivals.
