My newest film "To the Moon just finished principle photography. To The Moon tells the story of Emette, a 17-year-old girl who struggles to make connections in her everyday life. One night, while stargazing, she sees something in her telescope -- a boy living on the moon. The boy, Benjamin, has a telescope, too, and the pair begins communicating through hand-written signs. Eventually, Emette decides to build a rocketship so she can visit Benjamin; however, a lack of communication threatens to end their relationship before it has even begun. New photos from the last few days of shoot. Only 3 more principle photography days and we will be wrapped. Lots of cold nights and long hours. Thanks to the hard work from my crew, this film is becoming a reality. Tonight we are shooting the driving sequence close ups in the sound stage at Chapman University.  More photos to come in a few days!

"Shade of Blue" my thesis film at Chapman University is in the middle of production. Besides a few hurdles we are making our days.  This film is about  a young man's lifelong dream is to become a working police officer, but his fantasy notion of what a cop is comes into direct conflict with the realities of the job. We are shooting "Shade of Blue" on the Panavision Millennium Super 35mm, 3Perf.  Our references for the film are 80's neo noir drama films.
