My final short film for my first year at Dodge College (Chapman University) has been accepted into the 17th annual Temecula International Film and Music Festival.
The guidelines for the film were: three pages max., two characters, and one location. This assignment is called a 3-2-1. Thanks to my awesome crew and cast this was a fun film to make!
For those of you who have not been to Temecula it's a great place to relax and get away from the day-to-day routine. There are more than a dozen wineries to enjoy, hot air balloon rides, and all-around beautiful scenery.
I hope to see you there!

The summer film "Vitriolage" that I'm shooting is almost finished. We have one more night interior shoot left. The film will take a few months in post production but should come out pretty well. I'm excited to see the finished film and will have a teaser as soon as I can.
Stills taken by Assistant Camera Carlos Mason.

This year is starting off great with 2 bronze awards. The San Diego Ad Club is a great event to see all the hard work San Diego production companies are doing. Soi Clave Productions is a newer company but can keep up with the bigger established companies. Here are some links to see the awards and video's.
After finishing the film and entering it into festivals Derek Dunfee posted the full film Down with the Ship to Vimeo. After about 1 month it had over 20,000 hits on Vimeo. Since the film was finished it had been accepted into several festivals and has won awards.
A film called "Spin" I shot this summer has been accepted into the Sene film festival in Rhode Island and the Tupelo festival in Mississippi. It was a 2 day shoot with a great cast and crew. Thanks to James Hall for getting in touch with me to be the cinematographer on this film. Hopefully it gets accepted into some more festivals. Hope you like the trailer.
